The Colorado Military Historians will be reenacting historical conflicts by using
miniature
military models in the attic of the Boulder History Museum. Model figures used will be highly detailed and historically accurate for guests to observe and participate in re-creating history as the games are played out on tabletop landscapes.
In addition, Brigadier General John Sloan Brown, USA (Ret.) will be on hand in the Museum's foyer to provide an overview of the groups activities. General Brown retired in October 2005 after more than 34 years of service to the United States Army. General Brown's most recent duty assignment (1998-2005) was as Chief of Military History for the United States Army. In addition to his extensive military career and historical military knowledge, General Brown's academic experience includes teaching at the United States Military Academy and chairing the Army's Military History Coordinating Committee.
