In 1911 when women's clubs were making significant progress in cultural and social development across the United States. The Bluebird Club, led by Jean Sherwood, was an example of progressive women who came to Boulder for rest and healthful activity which became an important cultural and social legacy in the community's history.

On June 8th, Ms. Sarah Price, a CU graduate student in the Museum Studies Program, will present a slide show and lecture highlighting the historical significance of Mrs. Sherwood and the Bluebird Club in the Boulder Community as an outgrowth of the women's club movement in America.
