    In partnership with the Colorado Chautauqua Association, the Boulder History Museum presents the following programs in conjunction with the Museum's new exhibit, ready, set . . . BOULDER! Colorado’s Sports Mecca.

    Training Tips from the Pros!
    Boulder's Mountain Bike Olympians:
    Travis Brown & Ann Trombley

    Travis Brown, a 2000 USA Olympic Team Member, is notable for the length of his competitive racing career. In 1990 he raced the first official UCI World Mountain Biking Championships in Durango, CO, won the US National Champion MTB XC race in 1999 and won the Marathon National Championship at Mammoth Mountain California in 2005.

    Ann Trombley, author of Serious Mountain Biking, works as an elite cycling coach to participants of all ages, abilities, and disciplines. She has been a mountain biker for 20 years and has competed for 10, during which time she earned a spot on the U.S. mountain bike racing team at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, won the National Short Track Championship, and placed 12th at the World Championships.

    Get pumped up for the upcoming mountain biking season by joining fellow junior fat tire enthusiasts to view the latest mountain bike action video 'EARTHED III.'
    The evening kicks off at 5:30 with a Meet & Greet Hour with Boulder's own U23 & Collegiate Mountain Bikers. Door prizes, swag, and a few local mountain bike video shorts will precede the feature film beginning at 6:30.
