Cost: $7/girl
The first session of this Program begins at the Museum with a popcorn and lemonade snack. We will then embark on an adventurous tour of the Historic University Hill neighborhood to learn about important buildings and figures from Boulder History. The girls will return to the Museum for a hand-on history activity to discover the stories of historic Boulder communities through exploring the object they left behind.
During the second session of this Program, the girls will begin by examining modern and historic maps and photographs to discover how their community has changed. The girls will use this insight to make and demonstrate creative predictions for the future of Boulder. This Program culminates in a Service Project that will help the Museum to get the word out to the girls’ community.
